- Are you aged 16/17?
- Have you been unemployed for at least 13 weeks (in some cases 6)?
The Activity Agreement could be for you!
If you are eligible (speak to you PA about this), you could gain new skills and get paid to do it!
Sign up to the Activity Agreement and you will have the opportunity to take part in activities that will give you the confidence to go further and you will be rewarded with £30 per week.
What sort of Activities?
They will be tailored to you needs and must help you get a job, course or training programme.
After completion of the programme you should be able to:
- Find the right Course or job for you
- Succeed at job interviews
- Deal confidently with people
- Know how to manage your money
Activities will be discussed and decided between you and your The Countryside Foundation Personal Adviser. They will be tailored to meet your needs for example workshops to help with Anger Management, team building, confidence building, voluntary work experience to name but a few.
The Activity Agreement lasts for 20 weeks, but it is okay if you get a job etc before the end of the agreement. The number of activities you undertake each week is up to you but you must make sure you do something each week. If you fail to attend what has been agreed with you PA you payments will be stopped for that week.
