FOOD CHAIN INTERACTIVE QUIZ 1

Some animals feed only on other animals - these are known as CARNIVORES. Animals that feed on both other animals and plants are OMNIVORES. A HERBIVORE is the name given to an animal that feeds only on plants.The food chain is made up of PREDATORS - the animals doing the hunting - and PREY - the animal that the PREDATOR is hunting.

The 9 pictures below make up little food chains with 3 pictures in each chain. The chains go from left to right, with the first item in the chain being on the left and the animal at the top of that chain on the right. First click on an animal or plant picture (the picture will become speckled so that you know you have selected it) and then choose the position you think it would appear in the food chain by clicking one of the squares marked with a ?(question mark). Keep going until all the ?s in the chain are filled.  You will be told if you have made a mistake and then you can have another guess. Press the reset button to start another chain.
